Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how BOTHook (“bothook”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and hosted OpenClaw setup service.

1. Data we collect

  • Website usage data: basic logs necessary for security and operation (e.g., timestamps, IP address, user agent).
  • Contact form submissions: the email address you provide, your message, and (optionally) your provisioning UUID.
  • Service metadata: minimal operational data needed to provision and manage your instance (e.g., order/session identifiers, status).

2. Chat content

When you talk to the bot inside a chat app, the content of those messages is handled by the relevant chat platform and the OpenClaw runtime. We do not sell chat content. We aim to minimize storage of message content and retain only what is necessary for service operation, support, and debugging.

3. How we use data

  • To provision and operate your OpenClaw instance.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To protect the service from abuse and improve reliability.

4. Data sharing

We may share data with service providers strictly as needed to operate bothook (e.g., cloud infrastructure, email delivery). We do not sell personal information.

5. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If your plan expires and you do not renew, the bot will stop; operational data may remain for a limited period for accounting and support purposes.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information (access controls, encryption in transit, and least‑privilege operational practices). However, no system is perfectly secure.

7. Your choices

  • You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of contact information you submitted.
  • You can stop using the service at any time by not renewing.
