Terms of Service
Last updated:
BOTHook (“bothook”, “we”, “us”) provides a hosted setup and delivery experience for running OpenClaw in chat apps. These Terms govern your use of our website and service.
1. What we provide
- We provision an OpenClaw instance for you and help connect it to supported chat apps.
- The website is used for getting started, payment, and viewing basic status/billing information.
- OpenClaw is third‑party/open source software; bothook does not claim ownership of OpenClaw.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the content you send to the bot and for complying with the rules of the chat platforms you use.
- Do not use the service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing activity.
- Keep your device and linked chat accounts secure. If you suspect compromise, contact us immediately.
3. Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service, but uptime is not guaranteed. We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the service to improve stability or security.
4. Trials, subscriptions, renewal, expiration
- Service access is time‑bound based on your purchase/plan.
- Before expiration, the bot may remind you.
- If you do not renew, the bot will stop naturally after the paid period ends. No additional cleanup should be required from you.
5. Support
For support, use the contact form. If relevant, include your provisioning UUID.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that it will be error‑free or uninterrupted.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, bothook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the service.
